HeatherC, Thank you, the Rowe, Eddy, Warren, White and Grenfell are in my pedigree- I believe the 19 February 1841 son born to Mrs. Wm Eddy, is the same William (Willie) Eddy who eventually migrated to the US and is the brother in law of my great aunt. The 1841 date fits as does the name. FYI Re: Capt. John Grenfell - My GX3 grandfather was Capt. Peter Eddy, also of the Levant mine - Captains were bosses in the Tin Mines.
