A few bits from IGI to help fill out the picture:-
Samuel s/o Nicholas PLOMER bp. 2nd November 1779 Mullion
Samuel PLOMAR married Rebecca COURTIS 26th April 1804 Mullion
Samuel s/o Samuel and Rebecca PLOMER bp. 7th February 1808 Mullion
Looks like Samuel may have married late - unless he had a prior marriage.
But I think this will be him with his wife probably being Gertrude:-
Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages Dec 1854 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Casson Sarah Liverpool 8b 180 Plomer Samuel Liverpool 8b 180 Spuring Gertrude Liverpool 8b 180 Webster John Liverpool 8b 180
And probably his son:-
Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages Sep 1885 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plomer Samuel Henry Penzance 5c 394 Pooley Elizabeth Penzance 5c 394 Roberts Ellen Penzance 5c 394 Roberts George Lanyon Penzance 5c 394
If you check the OPC site you will also find a Samuel PLOMER (son of John) marrying Honor JACCA at Paul 23rd January 1842
Having a lot of trouble finding Samuel or his father in 1841 and 1851 but this should give you a bit to work with.
Let me know how you go.

I saw that one when I checked the OPC and completely ignored it for some unknown reason! But here is probably the burial of Samuel's mother:- Rebecca PLOMER, age 84, of Churchtown buried 25th May 1862 Mullion

Hello Sarch Harry Inch and Ada Gertrude (AKA Edith) Plomer Have now seen a scan of the actual marriage register (as in the one signed by the bride and groom). The bride signs herself as Edith Plomer so certainly not an error on the ministers part. Have not found a death recorded for an Edith Inch between 1878 and the census of 1881 where the wife of Harry is given as Ada Gertrude......... Could have had her own reasons to have wanted to be known as Edith on her marriage certificate but then decided that perhaps Ada Gertrude was ok after all Best regards HeatherC
