I am looking for the Mary married to Nicholas Wallis
I can find Nicholas Wallis m Mary Harry St Just in Penwith 14 May 1753 but am not sure if this is the correct Mary? I don't have parents for Nicholas Wallis
I have one daughter for them - Hannah Mary Wallis or Mary Hannah Wallis b abt 1793 d 17 Jan 1866 St Ives Hannah married Robert Richards in abt 1815? 1841 Census has Hannah and Robert Richards living in Street An Garrow, St Ives
I have another possible daughter for Nicholas and Mary Wallis which is Peggy Wallis b 1789 St Ives d/o Nicholas and Mary Wallis (LDS ref)
and have also found Peggy Wallis b 7 Oct 1792 St Ives daughter of Nicholas and Mary Wallis (LDS Ref)
I have Nicholas and Mary Wallis' granddaughter Peggy Richards b 1822 St Ives marrying in St Ives 22 Oct 1844 to Thomas Wallis b 1819 St Ives

Given most of these events seem to be at St Ives I would suggest the following marriage:-
Nicholas WALLIS, shipwright, married Mary LEDDRA 29th February 1786 at St Ives
Mary was baptised 3rd February 1760 at St Ives d/o Richard and Eleanor (nee PAYNTER).
I have found no burial for Mary yet but Nicholas married the widowed Margaret WILLIAMS at St Ives 23rd October 1803.
Nicholas is probably the man buried at St Ives 13th November 1829 at the age of 70.
Based on this information a search of IGI provides only one possibility:-
Nicholas s/o James WALLIS bp. 12th January 1760 at Penzance
Bear in mind that there may be others of this name whos baptism does not appear in IGI.

I have Nicholas' parents as James Wallis and Elizabeth Harry
I had Nicholas in my database twice once married to Mary and separately married to Mary Leddra so have merged them. - thanks for the help - it all came clear once I had a birthdate for Nicholas.
Marriage date for Nicholas Wallis and Mary Leddra is 19 Feb 1786 St Ives

Nicholas WALLIS and Margaret WILLIAMS were both widowed at the time of their marriage so I am sure this will be the man who previously married Mary LEDDRA.
The son, John Williams WALLIS, will undoubtedly belong to them and I can see no other children.
Interesting that a Nicholas and Mary WALLIS had a child baptised at St Ives in 1812. This may be the son of Nicholas from his marriage to Mary LEDDRA but the marriage does not appear to have taken place at St Ives.
Have placed a request for a lookup for the burial of Nicholas' first wife Mary so hopefully that can be found and will help confirm this.

Mary Leddra was buried 19 Jan 1796 - wife of Nicholas - your own transcription CT, but subsequent to your previous post.
I believe that Margaret Williams was b Margaret Branwell. Margaret Branwell m John Williams 7 Feb 1787 at Madron
The child, Eliza, baptised 1812 to Nicholas & Mary I think must have been Margaret's daughter ( Margaret abbreviated to Marg can look like Mary)
Eliza Wallis m Thomas Hodge 19 Mar 1833 at St Ives their children include Margaret Branwell Hodge - bap 22 Nov 1835 at St Ives Primitive Methodist (Transcribed Brannell)
Hopefully sufficient evidence to support my thoughts..
