As there is quite a considerable amount of traffic on the Harvey front, how's about starting a 'Harvey' link. ;D

Thanks Mary of the info on Abednego. I really must follow this side of things up with more interest. I also have a wee bit of info somewhere about Harveys who emigrated to the USA, Nevadaville I think.

Isn't there also some relationship with Trevithick the steam engine king?

Hi Tony,

Yes, Richard Trevithick married Jane Harvey of Hayle in 1797. She was the daughter of John Harvey, a blacksmith, who I believed founded Harveys of Hayle foundry.
