You are welcome my friend. I know I probably gave you much more than you wanted but at least there is some reasonable background now for possible later research. I will turn my attention also back to West Cornwall on this one although it is very possible that I will have to take a similar path with some other areas I am working on. (Or will be working on very soon.) CT

Thanks to a researcher on another site I've found that Margaret Isabel Corkill and William Glasson Semmens were married in Montreal 10 June 1905, the day Margaret arrived from Liverpool on board the Bavarian. Their children, Thomas, Graham and Ralph were born in Manitoba (presumably Winnipeg) in 1907, 1908 and 1911 respectively, before the Semmens' moved to Calgary. William and Margaret arrived in Southampton on 27 October 1938, contrary to my record indicating Margaret's possible death in 1924. No trace of a possible second marriage by William to an M.A. Eldred has been found.
