That 1636 BT is definitely for St Ives. Yes, the corner of the page containing the name of the Parish is torn away and 'Mewan?' is written in Pencil but the entries are certainly for St Ives people. The one piece of evidence that helps prove this is a St Ives record is at the end of the document where appear the signiatures of Thomas Jackson, Steven Barbar and Thomas Goode. Barbar and Goode were both active at St Ives during this period but the key is Thomas Jackson who was Curate of St Ives at the time and who also signed the 1638 BT for St Ives which still has the Parish name intact.
