Lannanta - I have the answer a little quicker than I might have expected! The answer to the above is - via a distant sibling relationship. John Curnow was baptised at the Tregerthen Bible Christian Chapel at Zennor 11th August 1841 son of Robert Curnow and Ann Nekervis who had married at Zennor 4th February 1837. John was the fourth of ten children to this family who appear to have moved to St Ives sometime between the baptism of Elizabeth in 1844 and Joseph Henry in 1847. Robert Curnow was baptised at Zennor 3rd May 1816 son of James Curnow and Jane Allen. James Curnow baptised 20th April 1783 Zennor son of William Curnow and Alice Richards. William Curnow baptised 12th May 1748 Zennor son of James Curnow and Jane Baragwanath. James Curnow baptised April 1703 Zennor son of David Curnow and Jane Roberts. David Curnow born 1662+/- son of Robert Curnow and Catherine Painter. This last is the connection to Robert Curnow/Wilmot Rosewall with Robert and David Curnow being brothers. CT
