That Blue on Green message was just 'a little harsh' on my eyes. Having just lost a couple of hours work on another thread I will not have time tonight (at least) to work through this properly but will certainly try to do so as soon as I have the opportunity. A brief read of your latest suggests scenario two might be the more likely but I will have to think on it carefully before giving a more considered opinion. (Plus I would like to try and track it all through whatever records I have/can find.) Will do my best as soon as I can.

Sorry about the blue... I started out with red, but that was worse.... I still have scenario 1 in my GedCom, but lately have been leaning toward scenario 2. It would certainly help if we could find more info on Thomas Jaunsling, but aside from the fact that he served as vicar, nothing more has come to light. The only Jaunslings I have been able to find have all come from Devon, and were about 3/4 of a century later.
