I have been following this discussion with some interest and as a result of Gandolf's recent post have decided it was time to jump in and offer a bit of help ...... and one or two corrections!
First correction to make is regarding 'daughter' Emily - in fact there is NO daughter Emily at all! The Emily you see in the 1851 Census age 4 is actually recorded as
grandaughter!
And after having a look at all the information I could find (i.e. Census and Parish Registers) I am of the opinion that daughter Harriet may not belong. I still have a little work to do on this particular point but there is enough evidence to suggest that there may be an error in the register and that Harriet was not the child of John and Mary Tregoning.
I won't pursue what happened after 1851 at this point but I do want to try and help you get the immediate family of John and Mary Tregoning correct with all details possible about the children that can be proved are theirs.
By my count there are 14 children that can be proved absolutely belong to John and Mary. I will list all of the children in order and, for the time being, will include Harriet as a means of showing just why she probably does not belong. I will also add the details of the 1841 and 1851 Census and insert them in the appropriate place according to the births of the children.

14.

15.
Samuel son of John and Mary Tregoning of Gwennap age five months baptized 27th June 1843 Gwennap Wesleyan Methodist Circuit
NOTE: Harriet is baptized in August 1829 and Caroline was born three months later. It is possible that Harriet was born in the latter part of 1828 or even as late as February 1829 but that would also mean Elizabeth was born at least several months earlier. But it should also be noted that in 1841 Elizabeth was age 12 indicating she may have been born only weeks prior to her baptism.
The other option is that Harriet was actually born before Elizabeth (there is a gap of two and a half years between the baptism of William in 1825 and that of Elizabeth in 1828) but we have no burial for Harriet and I cannot find her in the 1841 Census.

Once again Harriet does not appear although she may have been married by this time. I will pursue that possibility directly but first need to comment on the demise of John Tregoning.
The 1851 Census makes it clear that John Tregoning was deceased and Gandolf has given details of an 1848 burial. HOWEVER, there are actually TWO John Tregoning burials at Gwennap in 1848:-
John Tregoning of Lanner Moor age 48 buried 14th February 1848 Gwennap
John Tregoning of near Frogpool age 49 buried 4th November 1848 Gwennap
So which one is the husband of Mary?
In 1841 there were three men named John Tregoning at Gwennap who were all around the same age. John and Mary above, John Tregoning and wife Elizabeth at Gwennap Moor and John Tregoning and wife Alice at Pollans.
In 1851 Mary Tregoning and her children were at Cusgarne whilst John and Alice were at Busveal so it would appear the second 1848 burial belongs to the husband of Elizabeth. There is an Elizabeth Tregoning at Gwennap Moor in 1851 living with the family of her niece but unfortunately she is recorded as being married so I cannot be certain if this is the same Elizabeth . If it is a different Elizabeth then the wife of John may also have died before the Census or she may have remarried but unfortunately the OPC does not show any possible marriage which means if she did remarry it may have been in the Registry Office.
Bottom line here is that we cannot be certain just which burial belongs to the husband of Mary Isaac even though the one near Frogpool is likely to be the right one. Perhaps another pointer to that burial is the fact that when Emily Jane Tregoning was baptized her parents were living at Frogpool. Her parents were John Tregoning (son of John and Mary) and his wife Philippa who it would appear may have married in a Non-conformist Chapel or the Registry Office.
I still cannot find the answer about Harriet except that in the 1841 Census the only Harriet Tregoning I can find was at Tuckingmill with parents Thomas and Mary and she was age 10. But as she had a brother William also recorded as age 10 and two siblings age 5 I suspect Harriet may have been a little older.
Hmmmmm! - I have just solved the problem of Harriet at Camborne. She was baptized Truro St Mary Wesleyan Circuit 1st May 1829 (born 10th March 1829) to Thomas and Mary Ann (nee Jory) Tregoning. So that definitely removes here from the equation in relation to John and Mary.
And now I seem to have exhausted possibilities for Harriet daughter of John and Mary. I can find no record of a death or burial, no possible marriage, and no sign of her in the 1841 or 1851 Census so, for the time being at least, she must remain a mystery.
And the final tally of children for John and Mary Tregoning is 14 confirmed with Harriet as a possible 15th.
